Public Notice GLTS Closure Due to COVID-19

  • April 21, 2020

    Dear GLTS Students and Families,

As you may have already heard, yesterday afternoon Governor Baker extended the school closure through the end of the school year. I am not sure how you are feeling with the news but I can tell you that while I was expecting we would be closed for longer, hearing the decision was very difficult. I miss seeing all of you and am so sad for you to miss out on the opportunities available while at the physical school. That being said, we will take this opportunity to make sure our learning continues. We will continue with remote learning through the end of the year, following the Remote Learning Plan posted on our website. The schedule in the plan will be updated this week. In addition, we will reach out with a survey again to make sure each of you has what you need in regards to food and other resources. Please be on the lookout for it later this week.

We know there are a lot of questions that need to be answered, and we will be planning over the next few weeks to address all of them. In addition, we imagine there could be additional questions and so please Click here to submit any questions you want to be answered.

We know this is especially difficult news for the Class of 2020, but we need you to know that we will find a way to celebrate you and your successes over these past four years no matter what! Ms. Gillis will be in touch soon and our planning will begin!

    Thinking of you all,
    Ms. Freedman
