Principal


Chet joined GLTS in August 2024. Previously, he served as the principal of North Andover High School (NAHS) for seven years, following a decade as assistant principal. Under his leadership, NAHS maintained NEASC accreditation, transitioned to a full-year schedule with expanded elective offerings, and established partnerships with the Merrimack College Early College Program and the Greater Lawrence Tech After Dark program.

Before his tenure in North Andover, Mr. Jackson spent eight years as a math instructor at GLTS, where he also served as the Boys Varsity Basketball Coach for four years. Returning to GLTS as principal is a full-circle moment in his career, reinforcing his dedication to technical education and the Greater Lawrence community.

Mr. Jackson believes that flexibility and reflection are key components of effective leadership. He values collaboration and encourages all staff to take an active role in shaping the school’s success. His goal is to ensure that GLTS continues to provide students with rigorous academic and technical opportunities that prepare them for careers and beyond.

A graduate of Boston College (Class of 1997), Mr. Jackson earned a master’s degree in education from Fitchburg State and a master’s degree in administration from UMass Lowell.
