GLTS students will work with coaches from the 'Haus of Athletes' on skill development and conditioning specifically for their sport. This program focuses on enhancing the strength, speed, endurance, mobility and skill development for our student athletes. This program will be led by a team of professional trainers and sport specific coaches who possess extensive experience and expertise in sports conditioning. The training sessions will take place throughout the summer and utilize the school's weight room, gym, and/or turf field.
This program is designed to offer sport-specific skill development, player development, chalk-talk sessions, and mental performance training and will have former and current professional and collegiate athletes as part of the coaching staff, ensuring high-quality instruction and mentorship.
GLTS - Home of the Reggies!
Greater Lawrence Technical School is a regional technical high school serving the four communities of Andover, Lawrence, Methuen and North Andover. Research indicates that when students participate in activities outside of their course of study, they tend to excel in school. To maximize their experience at GLTS, students are encouraged to participate in the numerous athletic teams that GLTS has to offer. Here at GLTS our goal is to develop well-rounded student-athletes and we know our students are up to the challenge; thus we "Expect More, Demand More, Achieve More".
