Welcome to the Student Support Services Department Webpage!
Our mission is to provide services for all eligible students in compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and M.G.L. c.71B. The IDEA ensures that all eligible students receive a "free and appropriate public education" (FAPE) in the "least restrictive environment" (LRE). The general education classroom is considered the least restrictive placement with the appropriate supports and related services. Greater Lawrence offers a continuum of services in all required subject areas. The vocational/technical programs are open to all students with disabilities. Should a student's IEP require educational support services in the vocational setting these services and supports are
available if deemed necessary by the TEAM.
For More Information:Please be sure to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have, relative to your child's education.
