IMPORTANT ADMISSIONS INFORMATION
- The application portal is open for the 24-25 academic year.
- Open House will be on November 3, 2024, from 12:00pm - 2:00pm. All current 8th graders and their families are highly encouraged to attend this once-a-year event.
- Priority deadline for incoming 9th-grade applicants (class of 2029) is February 1, 2025
- Decisions for incoming 9th-grade applicants (class of 2029) will be released in March.
- Application portal will close on June 1, 2025
- Transfer Applicants Decision Notification (class of 2026, 2027 and 2028): August, 2025
Applications will not be accepted after June 1, 2025, for fall admission.

At Greater Lawrence Technical High School we understand that you have a very important decision to make in regards to selecting a high school. There are many options to consider.
Here at Greater Lawrence Tech eighth grade students who reside in Lawrence, Methuen, Andover or North Andover may apply for admission. Applications are due February 1st. At Greater Lawrence Tech, we aim to provide a welcoming, supportive and accepting learning environment for every student. We realize that our students and their families are entrusting us with their high school education and we take that responsibility very seriously.
As a technical high school we are able to offer students two educations in one. We offer challenging and rigorous academic courses. In addition, our students explore, select, and focus on one of our 20 vocational technical programs. As a result, Greater Lawrence Tech students are prepared to either enter college, the workforce or the military upon graduation.
