Honors

Honors courses are academic courses that are designed to challenge students with more in depth and rigorous coursework than college prep courses. These courses are intended to provide students with an opportunity to engage in deeper learning and critical thinking.

Honors courses typically cover the same standards as college prep courses, but at an accelerated pace, and with greater depth and complexity. 

Honors courses may be offered in a variety of subjects, including English, math, science, and social studies. 

Enrolling in honors courses offers students the opportunity to challenge themselves academically, demonstrate intellectual curiosity and motivation, as well as develop advanced critical thinking and analytical skills.
