Program Description

In today's mechanized world, nearly every product relies on the expertise of skilled machinists. The Advanced Manufacturing program provides students with the technical knowledge and hands-on experience needed to bring innovative designs to life. From creating precision parts to working with cutting-edge technology, students develop skills that are in high demand across industries such as aerospace, automotive, defense, and medical research.

Training takes place in the Norman Martin Machine Tool Technology Shop, a state-of-the-art facility equipped with HAAS and Prototrak CNC milling machines, coordinate measuring machines, CAD/CAM software, and 3D printing technology. With access to industry-standard tools and instruction, students graduate ready to pursue careers as machinists, technicians, and engineers—each playing a vital role in shaping the future of manufacturing.
