Automotive Collision and Repair

Student working on automotive collision repair in the GLTS automotive shop

Program Description

Transforming damaged vehicles into road-ready masterpieces requires precision, skill, and an eye for detail. In the Automotive Collision and Repair program, students learn the art and science of restoring cars, trucks, and SUVs to their original condition. Over four years, they develop hands-on expertise in painting and refinishing, structural and non-structural repairs, mechanical and electrical systems, and damage estimation.

The program provides a real-world learning environment, where students work on a variety of vehicle makes and models while following industry standards set by NATEF, ASE, and I-CAR. Whether preparing for careers in body shops, dealerships, or insurance assessment, students gain the technical skills and certifications needed to thrive in the ever-evolving automotive repair industry.
