Program Description 
For students with a passion for flight and innovation, the Aviation program offers a gateway to the dynamic world of aerospace. This hands-on program prepares students for careers in aircraft maintenance, avionics, and aviation technology by blending classroom instruction with real-world experience.
Students train on aircraft systems, flight simulators, aviation tools, and FAA regulations, ensuring they are well-versed in industry safety standards and compliance. Alongside technical skills, students build essential soft skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and communication—critical for success in the aviation industry. Through internships, co-ops, and networking opportunities, students gain direct experience with local aviation companies, making them competitive candidates for careers as aircraft maintenance technicians, avionics specialists, and aerospace engineers.

Industry Credentials
By graduation, students that go through the aviation program at GLTS will have completed a general and airframe curriculum. With the support of GLTS, students will have the opportunity to now take the FAA written and practical exams in the aforementioned areas of study.
