Program Description

From groundbreaking medical research to sustainable agriculture, biotechnology is transforming the world. This program introduces students to the power of scientific discovery and innovation, teaching them how biological research and laboratory techniques improve lives. Students explore fields like drug development, genetic engineering, biomanufacturing, and environmental science, gaining hands-on experience in state-of-the-art labs.

Before working with lab equipment and chemicals, students complete comprehensive safety training, ensuring they meet industry standards. Beyond traditional scientific roles, the program exposes students to non-traditional careers in biotechnology, including business operations, marketing, and finance, providing a well-rounded understanding of the industry.

Graduates leave with real-world laboratory experience and industry-recognized certifications, including OSHA 10, CPR-AED, and multiple biotechnology micro-credentials.
