Program Description

Students explore fields like drug development, genetic engineering, biomanufacturing, and environmental science, gaining hands-on experience in state-of-the-art labs.
Before working with lab equipment and chemicals, students complete comprehensive safety training, ensuring they meet industry standards. Beyond traditional scientific roles, the program exposes students to non-traditional careers in biotechnology, including business operations, marketing, and finance, providing a well-rounded understanding of the industry.
Graduates leave with real-world laboratory experience and industry-recognized certifications, including OSHA 10, CPR-AED, and multiple biotechnology micro-credentials. Whether pursuing higher education or entering the workforce, students emerge with the skills and knowledge to make an impact in the rapidly growing biotech field.
