Information Technology

Program Description
In today’s digital world, technology is everywhere—and the Information Technology program prepares students to be the experts behind the screens. From troubleshooting hardware and building PCs to coding websites and managing databases, students gain hands-on experience in the essential skills that power our connected world. Along the way, they explore programming languages like Python and JavaScript, master networking and cybersecurity fundamentals, and earn industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA ITF+, A+, Network+, and Security+.

Before diving into hardware, students must demonstrate proficiency in tool safety, particularly when building computers and crafting network cables. By junior year, they earn their OSHA 10 General Industry certification, reinforcing their knowledge of workplace safety. With a curriculum rooted in real-world applications and problem-solving, graduates leave the program ready for careers in IT support, cybersecurity, and software development—or to pursue further education in the field.
