Metal Fabrication

Student working on metal fabrication equipment in the GLTS workshop

Program Description

In the Metal Fabrication program, students learn the powerful art of transforming raw metal into functional structures. Whether welding, shaping, or assembling, they develop the technical skills needed to create everything from intricate automotive parts to large-scale structural steelwork.

Safety is a top priority, and students must demonstrate mastery of equipment operation before beginning hands-on projects. They gain experience in a variety of welding techniques, metal-joining methods, and blueprint reading, ensuring they are well-prepared for careers in welding, fabrication, and advanced manufacturing. With a strong foundation in both craftsmanship and problem-solving, graduates enter the workforce ready to build the future—one weld at a time.
