Plumbing

Student welding a metal pipe in the plumbing shop

Program Description

Water is essential to daily life, and the Plumbing program trains students to be the skilled professionals who keep it flowing safely and efficiently. From designing and installing plumbing systems to troubleshooting and repairing leaks, students develop expertise in all aspects of the trade.

Practical experience is key, and students apply their skills by maintaining the school's plumbing infrastructure and participating in an annual house-building project. Industry-recognized certifications, including OSHA 10, Hotworks, and CSST Gas Piping certification, set them apart in the field. By the time they graduate, students have completed Tiers 1, 2, and 3 toward their Journeyman Plumbing License, making them well-prepared for apprenticeships or further education in plumbing and heating.
