After Dark: Technical Education Pathway

Sophomores apply each spring to begin the After Dark program in the fall of their junior year. Entrance requirements include submitting an application on time and participating in the Exploratory Program for 6 days in the summer between the last day of school and the 4th of July.

You must be on track to graduate to be accepted into After Dark. If more applications are received than seats available, GLTS will run a lottery to select students to be accepted into After Dark.

Application Steps

Please follow the steps below:

  1. Create new log in or login to prior account (personal email, do not use your school email)
  2. Add the grade for September 2026 (Note that at this point you can change the language for application)
  3. Select your current school
  4. Create a password in order to access your application in the future
  5. Click Register and complete application (This will bring you to a new page)
  6. Review all contact information and add missing information for the student
  7. And select After Dark for the program you are applying for
  8. Review/Enter all contact information for parent/guardian
  9. Review and acknowledge Attestation
  10. Voluntary information is optional
  11. Final step is to enter the electronic signature for student and parent/guardian
  12. If successfully submitted you will be directed to a confirmation page and also receive a confirmation via email
